Fourth Transnational Partner Meeting
The 4th partner meeting on the VETWOOD project
was held from September 8, 2011 to September 11, 2011 in Bratislava,
Slovakia.
The partners reported about the training workshops held in
all partner countries. Each partner presented agenda of the
events, lists of participants, training evaluation feedback
forms, certificates, photos, videos. Additional comments from
workshop participants were also presented and discussed among
the partners. On the basis of the feedback reports the necessary
conclusions were made and the final version of the interactive
multimedia product for e-learning of vocational English for
the Woodworking Industry was determined. All partners presented
reports from the Steering Committee meetings, held in each
partner country. The overall conclusion, made by the Steering
Committees, is that all project activities have been accomplished
properly and on time. The project products were highly evaluated.
The project dissemination activities, carried out by each
partner, were reported and discussed at the meeting. Financial
and administrative issues, connected with the completion and
Final report of the project, were also discussed.

The project Vocational
English Training for Woodworking Industry (VETWOOD), No. 2009-1-BG1-LEO05-01646
is financed by the European Commission under the Lifelong
Learning Programme, Subprogramme Leonardo da Vinci.
The project is implemented in five European countries - Bulgaria, Greece, Sweden, Slovakia and Austria and is aimed at developing training methodology and materials for lifelong learning for vocational college students, university students and professionals in Woodworking Industry and SMEs in relation to vocational English language training. The project aims will be achieved through the development of useful training tools that would fill in the gaps in English language training within the system of vocational education and training and provide language skills responding to the current needs of the Woodworking Industry.
The duration of the project is 24 months: from October 1, 2009 until September 30, 2011.
The project products and results will be applicable in vocational college schools, universities and any short-term or long-term vocational training of woodworking company staff and as training materials for lifelong learning for individuals employed in the woodworking industry sector.
